Keynote Address: Health Equity

Join Andrea Ault-Brutus, PhD for Hofstra University’s National Public Health Week 2021 keynote address. Dr. Ault-Brutus currently serves as the Director of Health Equity with Nassau County’s Department of Health.
In this address, an overview and history of health equity will be provided followed by its connection to public health. Dr. Ault-Brutus will explore contemporary topics pertaining to health equity and speak to how COVID-19 has brought to light the need of the continued work of public health professionals.
